The plain gold bezel with a fringe of ribbon, the grooved suspension loop with a single granule where it joins the bezel, set with a flat oval chalcedony engraved with Diana Venatrix, clad in a short chiton and high boots, with a mantle over her shoulders billowing to either side, the goddess taking an arrow from her quiver, holding the bow out before her, a dog running along beside her, on a short groundline 15/16 in. (2.4 cm) long
